A summary of all the named storms from the 2018/19 storm season in the UK.
The 2018/19 storm season saw eight storms named over a period of eight months.
The first named storm was Storm Ali on 19 September 2018 bringing gusts of up to 90 mph across Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England and parts of north Wales.
The strongest gusts of the season were recorded during Storm Ali with 91mph recorded at Killowen in County Down. Exposed areas saw even higher gusts with Cairngorm Summit recording 105 mph and the Tay Road Bridge recording a gust of 102 mph.
