General situation

A transient ridge of high pressure moves across the United Kingdom from the west, bringing settled conditions for much of Sunday, before the next Atlantic frontal system spreads rain eastwards across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England late Sunday evening and into Monday.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning
