West Northern Section

East Central Section

Variable 2 to 4, but westerly or northwesterly 5 at first in north and east, becoming cyclonic 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8 later. West Central Section

Denmark Strait

North Iceland

Area north of 70 north, variable 2 to 4. Smooth or slight. Drizzle and fog banks. Moderate, occasionally very poor.

Area south of 70 north, cyclonic, mainly easterly, 4 or 5, occasionally 6 in west and later in south. Slight or moderate. Occasional rain and drizzle, mist and fog patches in north and west. Moderate to very poor, occasionally good in south.

Norwegian Basin

In east
