Resilience methodology project
The purpose of this project is to pilot a methodology for measuring the contribution of weather and climate services to resilience.
The project is led by LTS International Limited (LTS).
The WISER programme has developed a simplified methodology for measuring the contribution of weather and climate services to resilience, which outlines how projects using co-production in enhancing the uptake and use of weather and climate services can collect, analyse and report data that shows progress towards measuring resilience. Selected WISER projects have been trained through this pilot on the guide’s objectives and how to use and integrate the different steps in their normal project management cycle to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. With the support of LTS, the projects will analyse and report on data gathered up until March 2020, also capturing lessons learnt. As a result of this work, LTS will produce a refined WISER resilience ‘how to’ guide, that will assist future weather and climate projects and programmes measure their contribution to resilience.
