The Met Office is the UK’s national meteorological service, delivering world-changing work. We skilfully predict the weather for today, tomorrow, next week and next season, while looking further ahead at how the climate may change over the coming decades and beyond.
Our forecasts help the UK Government, business and industry, emergency responders, the military and the public to stay safe and thrive. They span the entire globe, from the sea floor to outer space.
We operate from around 60 global locations, including our iconic headquarters in Exeter, Heathrow Airport, Gibraltar, the Falkland Islands and even Antarctica.
