Do I have to register for Hazard Manager?
Yes, you will need to create a new account before you can access Hazard Manager. Please use your work email address to register for Hazard Manager. Your work email address and password will enable you to access all your services in a single place. Please see if you are eligible to use the service, and, if so, register for Hazard Manager by using the link below. Hazard Manager will only display services that you are eligible to receive.
How to access the Hazard Manager service
What are the key improvements to the new Hazard Manager?
The new Hazard Manager has been designed for Mobile first so you will be able to access our information wherever you are. Hazard Manager has been developed in a way that improves performance, particularly with respect to the speed for the weather layers. The products and services have also been updated including improving the presentation of the forecast wind layer.
How do I access Hazard Manager?
Follow this link and use the simple sign up process and simplified log-in to access Hazard Manager.
I'm not sure how to use Hazard Manager?
We have created a help centre and accompanying user guides to help you get the most out of the Hazard Manager service.

Where do I find the warnings on Hazard Manager?
If there are any warnings in force when you sign into Hazard Manager, they will be displayed on the home page.

Hazard Manager looks different on my desktop, tablet and mobile. Why?
Hazard Manager has been developed using technology which adapts to different user devices. This ensures that we can provide a good user experience across a wide range of devices, whilst not affecting the functionality of the service.
How can I provide feedback regarding Hazard Manager?
If you would like to provide some general feedback, report a problem or request an additional feature you can use the ‘feedback’ link that you will find at the bottom of the menu when expanded.

Hazard Manager technical specifications
Hazard Manager is designed to run on all commonly used modern browsers and hardware. Whilst the Met Office has tested this application extensively, it is not possible to test on all combinations of hardware and software and we must therefore rely on the user to ensure that any issues with the application are not as a result of local hardware, software or communication issues.
The Met Office will continue to develop Hazard Manager, adding new features and ensuring that the application remains current and aligned to the following browser support standards.
The Met Office Hazard Manager web application has been developed to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) AA Accessibility standards. An Accessibility Statement is available to view within the application.
We have tested our web application using the browsers given in the list below.
Support definitions
- All content MUST be readable and usable, and all functionality MUST work
- Variations to presentation of content MUST be minimised
- Where CSS layout is used, the CSS MUST be rendered by supported web browsers, so that a fully-styled version of the page is presented to the user
