Warnings in force as cold weather continues

Cold with sleet and snow showers, mainly in the north.
Another cold day with sleet and snow showers across northern Aberdeenshire and Moray, these frequent early morning and again late afternoon. Largely dry with sunny spells across southern Aberdeenshire, although some snow showers here late afternoon. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Snow showers will continue through this evening and overnight, most frequent across Buchan where they will be heavy at times. Drier further south with only a few showers. Minimum temperature -5 °C.
Sleet and snow showers will die out through the morning to leave a dry and sunny day. Feeling less cold than recent days in light winds and sunshine. Maximum temperature 3 °C.
Strong winds with rain and snow spreading north on Saturday. Remaining windy but milder and rain rain clearing on Sunday. Rain or showers and a risk of gales on Monday.
