Today:
Mainly cloudy. Some patchy light rain this morning, though little of this is expected to reach eastern areas from Aberdeen southwards. Generally dry for the afternoon with some limited brighter spells, these most likely towards Deeside. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Tonight:
Best of evening brighter spells across southern Aberdeenshire. Largely dry, but cloud thickening from the west towards dawn to bring the chance of light rain to Moray and western Aberdeenshire. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Monday:
Best chance of early brightness to northeast of the A96. Otherwise cloudy with some rain, most persistent in west. Rain clearing from west during afternoon, with some late sunshine developing. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Seasonally unsettled with showers that may merge to longer periods of rain at times, particularly in the west. Best of shelter towards the east coast.
