Cloudy evening with a few light showers towards Shetland, but becoming increasingly clear over Orkney. Largely dry overnight with some clear spells developing, but cloud thickening across Orkney towards dawn to bring the chance of light rain. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Monday:
Some early brightness across Shetland, otherwise cloudy with occasional rain, heaviest through the middle of the day, before clearing from the west from late afternoon, allowing for some late sunshine. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Some bright spells between showers on Tuesday. Cloudy with showers turning to longer periods of rain Wednesday. Windy on Thursday with showers or longer periods of rain, heavy at times.
