A mainly dry and cloudy evening and overnight period, perhaps some patchy light drizzle in coastal areas. It will be mild in most places but a little colder where skies become clearer. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Tuesday:

Remaining mostly dry with a good deal of cloud, and also some brighter interludes developing later. Some light drizzle pushing in towards Dumfries and Galloway later. Staying mild. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Staying mainly dry and settled for Wednesday and Thursday. Remaining rather cloudy, but also some sunshine breaking through at times. Patchy rain spreading east on Friday. Staying mild.

Mainly cloudy with some patchy light rain and drizzle moving southeast on Saturday morning. Sunny spells will develop to the west of this, although further rain will probably reach some parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland by the end of the day. This rain will spread southeast through Sunday while becoming increasingly light and patchy. Into the following week, a good deal of settled weather across the UK as high pressure builds back in. Most places should be dry, although some patchy light rain or drizzle could affect the far north at times. Light winds may allow overnight fog to form, this slow to clear during the day. Temperatures will probably be above average overall, although with some cold nights possible. By mid-month, possibly turning a little more unsettled.

Probably an unsettled spell for a time at the start of this period with some wet and maybe windy weather for parts of the UK, more so in central and southern areas. Low confidence by late November and early December, with uncertainty whether unsettled, wetter weather or drier and more settled conditions will dominate. Temperatures will probably be close to or above average overall, although some colder interludes are possible, especially in the north.
