Tonight:

Variable, but often large amounts of cloud overnight. Probably dry and remaining mild. Small chance of a few very isolated fog patches by the morning where any clearer spells persist. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Sunday:

Largely cloudy with the odd brighter spell possible during the day. The cloud locally thick enough for some light drizzle, but many places staying dry. Rather mild, with light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Plenty of fine, dry weather through the period though often cloudy. Increasing chance of overnight mist or fog patches from Monday night. Temperatures near to above average.

High pressure is likely to dominate across many parts of the UK for much of this period, bringing lengthy spells of dry and settled weather, although it may be fairly cloudy at times. Where skies clear overnight some areas of fog, and perhaps frost, may develop. Southern and eastern areas are expected to be mainly dry for much of the time, while any more unsettled conditions are more likely to affect northern and northwestern areas. That said, small amounts of rain will be possible farther south and east from any weak fronts. Winds will often be light in the south, but it could be reasonably windy at times across the northwest. Temperatures will probably be warmer than average overall, although some cold nights are possible at times.

After a settled start to November, beyond mid-month there will probably be a change towards more unsettled conditions for a time. This means an increased chance of periods of wet and windy weather for parts of the UK, perhaps more so in central and southern areas. However, there is low confidence whether unsettled, wetter weather or drier and more settled conditions will dominate by the end of the month. Temperatures will probably be close to or above average overall, although some colder interludes are possible, especially in the north.
