Largely dull and cloudy to start with isolated outbreaks of rain through the morning, mainly across Kent and East Sussex. Gradually turning brighter through the day, but a continued risk of light rain in places. Mild with light winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Variable, but often large amounts of cloud overnight. Probably dry and remaining mild. Small chance of a few very isolated fog patches by the morning where any clearer spells persist. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Sunday:

Largely cloudy with the odd brighter spell possible during the day. The cloud locally thick enough for some light drizzle, but many places staying dry. Rather mild, with light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Plenty of fine, dry weather through the period though often cloudy. Increasing chance of overnight mist or fog patches from Monday night. Temperatures near to above average.

High pressure is likely to dominate the weather across many parts of the UK during this period, bringing plenty of dry and settled weather for most, although it may be fairly cloudy at times. Where skies clear overnight some areas of fog, and perhaps frost, may develop. Southern and eastern areas are expected to be mainly dry through much of this period, while any more unsettled conditions and periods of rain are more likely to affect areas further north, particularly the north and northwest of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Winds will often be light in the south, but there could be some spells of strong winds across the north and west. Temperatures will probably be close to or warmer than normal overall, although some cold nights are possible at times.

After a settled start to November, beyond mid-month there will probably be a change towards more unsettled conditions for a time. This means an increased chance of periods of wet and windy weather for parts of the UK, perhaps more so in central and southern areas. However, there is low confidence whether unsettled, wetter weather or drier and more settled conditions will dominate by the end of the month. Temperatures will probably be close to or above average overall, although some colder interludes are possible, especially in the north.
