ENSEMBLES (EN3) quality controlled ocean data - version 1c: Download

Each tar file contains all the gzip'd monthly NetCDF data for one year and the statistics file for each month (.stats). See EN3_files for more details and EN3c_changes for the v1b/v1c changes.

Please Note: In August 2007 a couple of errors were discovered in the EN3 NetCDF files below: (1) The metadata for XBT fall rate corrections (SCIENTIFIC_CALIB_COEFFICENT, INST_REFERENCE and DC_REFERENCE) have incorrect values. Please get in contact if you wish to use these metadata. (2) A number of profiles have an incorrect value for the Julian Day (JULD), which are easily indentified as a large negative number. It is advised that these profiles be removed from any analysis using EN3 data. This problem only affects the profiles taken prior to 1970.
