Sunny for most. Risk of showers in southwest on Thursday.
A dry day, with lots of blue skies and spring sunshine. It will remain rather breezy, particularly across England and Wales. Feeling warm in the sunshine, though still on the chilly side for places exposed to the wind.
A dry evening and night for many, with some low cloud and fog forming in places. An increasing risk of showers across southwest England come dawn. Turning quite chilly.
Another sunny day for much of the UK. Cloudier skies across Wales and southwest England, with showery outbreaks of rain developing here. Warm once again in the sunshine.
Mostly dry through this period, with plenty of sunshine. Low cloud and fog patches forming at night. Staying warm in the south and west, chiller in the north and east.
Updated:
High pressure should prevail for most of the outlook period, maintaining largely settled conditions for much of the time. This should result in lengthy spells of dry and bright weather. It will be breezy at times, especially in the southwest at first. Daytime temperatures will depend on the wind direction and cloud amounts, but most places will be warm for most of the period, and very warm days most likely will be further inland. Overnight frosts are possible on clear nights where winds fall light. There is also the chance of some areas of low cloud or fog, notably around the east coast. Towards the middle of April, the weather may turn more unsettled as rain or showers try to push in from the west.
Updated:
Weather patterns are most likely to remain fairly slow-moving through the second half of April. There could be some interludes of rain or showers for a time around mid April, but on the whole plenty of dry and fine weather is expected with high pressure looking to remain in charge for most of the time. Temperatures are likely to be around or a little above average overall, and feeling warm inland at times during the day, although some chilly nights are still possible under any clear skies.
