Additional weather information
Meteorologist's view
Poor visibility at first, but gradually improving by the afternoon. Some warm sunshine, and the odd shower possible later, so while appropriate sun protection will be essential, waterproofs might be needed too.
Weather
Cloud obscuring many hills initially, with mist or fog patches down at valley level, most likely across eastern areas. Cloud gradually lifting and breaking during the morning to allow some warm sunny spells to develop. Most routes likely staying dry, however a very isolated shower cannot be ruled out in the west.
Chance of cloud-free hill tops
20% in east and 60% in west at first, rising to 90% for all by the afternoon.
Low cloud and visibility
Extensive low cloud on the hills, obscuring eastern routes above 400m during the morning, with some mist and fog patches potentially obscuring routes down to valley floors. Western hills seeing cloud obscure routes above 600m. This gradually lifting and breaking through the morning with cloud clearing nearly all hills by the afternoon. Limited visibility during the morning will gradually increase to allow Moderate and then increasingly Good to Very Good views during the afternoon, with views potentially exceeding 25km.

Low cloud and visibility
Some fog patches at valley level at first. Cloud thickening and descending on some eastern hills above 500m through the morning, before lifting above summit level. Moderate to Good views during the morning could give visibility of hills of around 20km away, but becoming poor at times to just a few km in any heavy showers.
Mountain weather information

Early mist or fog patches in valleys soon lifting. A rather cloudy day follows with winds strengthening and an increasing chance of rain, perhaps becoming heavy and persistent into the evening.
