Overcast cloud remains into the evening with outbreaks of drizzle possible in most places, but especially over modest hills and towards the coast. Light winds and temperatures near average. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Dry and largely cloudy but with afternoon bright or sunny spells developing. Skies may clear later allowing overnight mist or fog patches to form. Light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Settled conditions persist, mostly cloudy and dry with occasional hill drizzle. Overnight cloud breaks may cause mist and fog, which may be slow to clear. Light winds and mild temperatures.

Mainly cloudy with some patchy light rain and drizzle moving southeast on Saturday morning. Sunny spells will develop to the west of this, although further rain will probably reach some parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland by the end of the day. This rain will spread southeast through Sunday while becoming increasingly light and patchy. Into the following week, a good deal of settled weather across the UK as high pressure builds back in. Most places should be dry, although some patchy light rain or drizzle could affect the far north at times. Light winds may allow overnight fog to form, this slow to clear during the day. Temperatures will probably be above average overall, although with some cold nights possible. By mid-month, possibly turning a little more unsettled.

Probably an unsettled spell for a time at the start of this period with some wet and maybe windy weather for parts of the UK, more so in central and southern areas. Low confidence by late November and early December, with uncertainty whether unsettled, wetter weather or drier and more settled conditions will dominate. Temperatures will probably be close to or above average overall, although some colder interludes are possible, especially in the north.
