Snow to affect parts of Scotland from Sunday afternoon, and further snow forecast for large parts of Northern England and North Wales from Monday evening.

A unique collaboration between the Met Office and The Wildlife Trusts has driven a series of projects examining the impacts of weather and climate change on wildlife and their habitats across the UK.

With the clocks going back this weekend, new Met Office research shows that almost half of people in the UK have been caught out unexpectedly by severe weather over the past year.
